I signed this Open Letter to the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) because of their continued failure to support people of gender and sexual diversities generally, and now their lack of clear condemnation of conversion therapy for trans clients. I am a member of BACP and am waiting to see if this letter, along with the ones by Dominic Davies, changes their mind, and if not I shall consider resigning my membership. It's way beyond time for BACP to step up and protect LGBTQ+ people.
